SEE WHAT YOU CAN TO TO MAKE OUR NO KINGS A SUCCESS, TO SECURE AN INDISPUTABLE MIDTERM VICTORY! WE’RE ALMOST THERE! FAINT NOT, FIGHT ON!
Hi All! No Kings Vote Early is coming up in less than two weeks! Our Closter Patriots team is working hard to make it a grand time for all and an effective tool to get out the vote—GOTV! We need some volunteers, and wonder who among you are up for these fun jobs?
Crowd counters: Math mavens wanted! We have one volunteer, so far, the formidable PB, who counted for us at NK3, in March. Collaborate with PB, and you can’t go wrong! We need one or two more counters. We had 1,050 attendees at NK3!
Volunteers to wear a QR code that links to comprehensive voting information: This is for the gregarious! The point of this No Kings Vote Early is to get as many people as possible to make a plan to vote early, and follow through. With that in mind, we’ve developed stickers with a QR code. These stickers will be worn by 10 or so volunteers. They will be on plastic accessories to wear over your clothes. You’ll be asked to walk among the crowd, get them to scan your sticker code with their phones, and make a commitment to voting early. Volunteers can also stand at the curb, so passing cars can scan the code.
Volunteers to wear Handmaid costumes with the same QR code: This is for the closet thespians! We have two brand-new Handmaid costumes, so need two volunteers. Have fun and interact with NKVE attendees, getting them to scan the code, reminding them to make a commitment to vote early.
Volunteers to take pix: Make sure you have your phone fully charged! Please take pix and/or videos of the crowd around you, or anything you find interesting that will document our event. Drive-by videos welcome! Send, please, to Closter Patriots after the event. closterpatriots@gmail.com

Volunteers for sidewalk chalking: Where are the artists?! This asks you to show up at least 15 minutes early to write “MAKE A PLAN TO VOTE EARLY” on the stretch of sidewalk where we’ll be. Chalk will be provided. We need about 5 volunteers for this. We already have one volunteer.
Please Volunteer And Make This Event Key To A Midterm Landslide!
Everybody, please take note of these!
*Opportunity to flip Congressional District NJCD-7 in the House of Representatives ! Day of Action on 10/10/26
From Tracy Zur, the Vice-Chairwoman of the Bergen County Board of Commissioners:
The race for CD-7 can be a net pick up for Democrats in the House! Rebecca Bennett is poised to beat Tom Kean Jr. and bring us one seat closer to having accountability for Donald Trump. Therefore our efforts in New Jersey really can make a difference!
On October 10th, as part of a Bergen County Day of Action, we’re heading down from democratic headquarters to move the needle, canvassing for Rebecca Bennett. Join Democratic Committee of Bergen County, Chairman Paul Juliano, the Saturday Morning Group, and Tracy Zur for a day of canvassing. Transportation provided.
