DO THE WORK WE NEED DONE WHILE THERE IS STILL TIME! WE’RE ALMOST THERE! FAINT NOT, FIGHT ON!
Hi All! No Kings Vote Early is coming up in 6 days! Our Closter Patriots team is working hard to make it a grand time for all and an effective tool to get out the early vote—GOTV! We need more volunteers. Who among you are up for these fun jobs?
Crowd counters: More math mavens wanted! We still need one counter. We have one volunteer, so far, the formidable PB, who counted for us at NK3, in March. Collaborate with PB, and you can’t go wrong! We need one more counter. Think of how bored you might get just standing around. Be a mover and a counter! We had 1,050 attendees at NK3!
Volunteers to wear a QR code: We need at least two more volunteers. We have only 5 volunteers, so far. Please step up!
The point of this No Kings Vote Early is to get as many people as possible to make a plan to vote early, and follow through. With that in mind, we’ve developed stickers with a QR code that links to comprehensive voting information. These stickers will be worn by 10 or so volunteers. They will be on plastic accessories to wear over your clothes. You’ll be asked to walk among the crowd, get them to scan your sticker code with their phones, and make a commitment to voting early. Volunteers can also stand at the curb, so passing cars can also scan the code.
Volunteers to wear Handmaid costumes with the QR code: This is for the closet thespians! We have two Handmaid costumes, and still need one volunteer. Have fun and interact with NKVE attendees, getting them to scan the code, reminding them to make a commitment to vote early. The hat is fetching!
Volunteers to take pix: Make sure you have your phone fully charged! Please take pix and/or videos of the crowd around you, or anything you find interesting that will document our event. Drive-by videos welcome! Send, please, to Closter Patriots after the event. closterpatriots@gmail.com

Volunteers for sidewalk chalking: Where are the artists?! This asks you to show up at least 15 minutes early to write “MAKE A PLAN TO VOTE EARLY” on the stretch of sidewalk where we’ll be. Chalk will be provided. We have one volunteer for this. One or two more would be great!
Everybody please take note of these!
