Immune Civilian Executioners edition
Hi All! This letter is all ICE actions and info, from several sources. We have to be prepared for a long, hot summer, and though that sounds good at 21º, it’s going to be difficult.

Next, the doers:
Join an NJ rapid response team! Via Action Network:

Then, support NJ municipal actions against ICE:Roxbury’s fight against ICE facility in Roxbury. Roxbury, New Jersey, where a town council of all Republicans stood up and said that they were opposing the warehouse being opened up there. Roxbury is quite far from us, but there are things we can do to push back anyway :

Just for giggles:
• The number of CBP agents and officers who have been arrested is roughly equal to the nation’s fourth-largest police department — equal to the size of the entire Philadelphia police.
• Indeed, for much of the 2010s and likely before and since, it appears the crime rate of CBP agents and officers was higher PER CAPITA than the crime rate of undocumented immigrants in the United States.—Simon Rosenberg, Hopium 2/2/26

*Excuse, please, the bad word!

**If you don’t know the Southern Poverty Law Center, they’re the law firm that, in 1987, “won a case against the United Klans of America for the lynching of Michael Donald, a black teenager in Mobile, Alabama. The SPLC used an unprecedented legal strategy of holding an organization responsible for the crimes of individual members to help produce a $7 million judgment for the victim’s mother. The verdict forced United Klans of America into bankruptcy. Its national headquarters was sold for approximately $52,000 to help satisfy the judgment.” This is the kind of pushback that changes history.
