We aim to make a difference in government and foster a better quality of life. And we will.
Hi All! All good news today! I’ve noticed a real uptick in the number of folks interested in resisting with us! The Zeitgeist is our flying carpet now, right now! We’d be foolish to let this advantage trickle away. Promote the resistance wherever you can. Bring more people in.
Want to be on the Northern Valley Regional High School Board of Education?
You’ve heard, “THIS ALL STOPS WHEN ENOUGH OF US SAY NO”, right? Well, the Northern Valley Regional High School Board of Education has disqualified Ed Durfee, the maga, former Oathkeeper, and J6 participant, who won the election for the seat. I was beside-myself happy when I heard this! This is big news, because it stopped another maga influence in our school system. The NVRHS BoE has a notice for applicants from Northvale on its site. I’ll keep you up on the situation.
Bring out your inner general! I believe that Moms For Liberty has a big presence in Northvale and hereabouts. Let’s keep up with them and think up tactics we can use to counter them, when we can. If it interests you to keep tabs on them, get back to me. Share the load and let the power of numbers do its job.
If you only read one thing in this letter, make it this:

We should be out there protesting this Winter.
I know it’s cold, but we stand for commitment and unflinching resistance, and nothing says that like being out in the cold, looking bold and full of the beans it takes to make our point and persevere. Our Winter goal is two protests each month.
Do you want me to schedule protests weekly, biweekly? Saturday? Sunday? Time? Get back to me on this. I’m looking for max impact out there. We should be able to turn out 40+ every time.
My plan is to compile a list of all regular protests in the county. This is going to increase with the better weather, and has the potential to be more work than one person can do, so I’m kicking the ball into your court. Do you know anyone or group in your town who hosts protests? I want to promote them! I want to be in touch with the group leader(s)!
These are regular, local protests that I know about:
Teaneck Beacon has a weekly Wednesday protest, 4 to 4:30 pm, corner of Teaneck Rd. and Cedar Lane. This week, the protest has been lengthened to 4 to 5:30, due to ICE crimes. Bring a flashlight!
NJ Peace Action Peace Justice Vigil protests every Wednesday, in Teaneck, from 4 to 5 pm, in front of the National Guard Armory, at Teaneck Road and Liberty Road.
Nanuet has a weekly Saturday protest in Nanuet, 12 to 1 pm, Rt. 59 and Middletown Rd. (Group name and contact to come. Anybody know them?)
Leonia has held a vigil every Sunday, at 4 pm, for years, at the corner of Fort Lee Road and Broad Avenue. I’m told the lady who hosts it is Leila, and I’ve found this group, leoniaisfiredup.org, but need facts checked on this and the location.
closterpatriots will have regular protests, frequency to be determined by the group’s response. I’m happy to take your lead on this. Weekly, biweekly? Saturday? Sunday? Time?
Faint Not, Fight On!

*This week, I wrote Postcards to Swing States instead of shaming letters, but I’ll get back to them. I think there’s strategic merit to shaming at this point, a point at which so much damage has been done. Imagine being a maga agitator at one of our protests, and hearing the low hiss of ”SHHHAME” coming at you from a phalanx of old people!
The time for niceties and amenities is NOT NOW! A serial killer said that women are more afraid of being impolite than making a choice they’re uncomfortable with—and it turned out fatal for them. I don’t remember who said that, Do you?
