Be there or be square!
Hi All! closterpatriots will be protesting in front of Closter Plaza, on Vervalen St., Closter, on 1/6/26, from 12-1. The theme for this protest is J6 WAS TREASON.
The weather report predicts decent protesting weather on 1/6. It will be mid- to high 30s, but not windy, so break out the long Johns and get out with us, even if you have to be outside in spurts and retreat to your car for a spell. I’m thinking of making a sign that says, “There are 50 of us here, but we’re taking turns warming up in the car.”
If you have a blowup costume, you’re sure to be warm! So, come as a dinosaur or furry animal. If you want anonymity, the blowup is your best friend. We’ll be doing a lot of protesting in a few months, so you might want to get one now, ahead of the Spring protests.

I can’t stress enough the importance of being seen, and being seen in this weather gives being seen even more import.
I know that many of you are doing a lot, but doing one more thing, like this, may have the biggest impact. I’m looking for our usual suspects to show up on Tuesday, because I know they will. You know who you are, and I know you know that I know, so let’s unravel the mysteries of metaphysical communication out there together. Please come and bring a friend or two with you.
Signs: any sign will do. I’ll make a few extra signs that say, “J6 WAS TREASON” and “TRUMP IS A TRAITOR.” Your presence is the gift, not the sign you bring. You don’t need a sign to participate.

One of our most active groups, The Fort Lee Visibility Brigade, still goes out weekly, even in this cold. They’re out tomorrow at 2 pm, on the Center Avenue overpass, in Fort Lee. Please get back to me and let me know you’re coming. I think we were all spoiled by October’s No Kings, but every protest can’t be a No Kings spectacular. Unless you make it so.
