Hi All! Looking forward to lovely holidays! Whatever your celebration, enjoy! There may be gatherings you attend where the future awaits, in the form of people you can bring into the movement and, perhaps, who would be good candidates for local offices.
We need a pool of candidates who’ll run for town council and, particularly, to serve on local school boards. We each know someone who’s civic-minded, interested, competent, educated, dedicated, willing. Pick any three, and see who you come up with. Talk to them about it.
Maybe, talk to yourself. There’s a mighty push from the right for control of public education. If you’re not a candidate yourself, maybe you’re an ace candidate scout!
No letters until 1/7, but closterpatriots@blsky.social has actions to take, and I’ll add them as they come in.

I sent the snail-mail shaming letter to Mike Johnson, on 12/10. I sent them also to these four Republicans in the House on 12/12/25. I’ll send to five more letters 12/18, 12/27, and 1/4.

Your Action Recommendation
Buy a book of stamps and write to House reps and Senators of your choice*. Write from your pain and rage at what’s happening.
