General, Local Protest
Weekly protest, every Saturday, from 12 to 1 pm, at the corner of Piermont Rd. and Vervalen St., down the street from Closter Plaza, Closter, NJ. This is a regularly scheduled protest. Tried and true feet on the street with signs event. We welcome you to walk with us on our path of victory over authoritarianism and the loss of our rights and freedoms.
The sidewalk is wide and can accommodate a wheelchair or other chair you might need to use. Children and pets are welcome. You'll feel at home among friends here! Please park in the lot at the corner of Vervalen St. and Piermont Ave. We hope for a great turnout, but want to be good neighbor and not take spots in the Closter Plaza lot. This is a great location for even large protests, like the 850-1,000 we had at No Kings. We don't want to lose this protest site!
