ESPECIALLY IN THE SLOW, HOT MONTH OF AUGUST
Hi All! We will have three more weekends of rallies before Labor Day weekend, when we will not have any rallies. We’ll have a free and, hopefully, pleasant holiday weekend. Until then, some consistency in attendance is needed. We’ve lost a few regulars to canvassing, others to summer vacations, others to heat.
However, appearances are everything, and we must not look like a straggle of kooks out there, but like people committed to real change resulting in many improvements to our country. I ask you to support this by your presence in the next three weeks. After Labor Day, we’ll have 8 weeks until the midterms.
I want to thank the five stalwart folks who came in that oppressive heat last Saturday. Your determination is much appreciated, just as we all appreciated the dedication of those who showed up in the cracking cold last January and February in Closter, in solidarity with the amazing Minneapolis the Victorious. We aim for victory in the midterms now.
It’s Closter Patriots’ 1st Anniversary!
Closter Patriots has been out on the street for a solid year now. And, it has been a moving year in more ways than one. We started in August, ’25, on the big bend at Closter Dock Road and Demarest Avenue, moved in October, ’25, to Vervalen Street, then, in April, ’26, to the corner of Piermont Road and Vervalen Street.

Saturdays midday, 12pm to 1 pm, Piermont Road and Vervalen Street, Closter, NJ
Rally in River Vale! Saturdays, 11am to 12pm, corner of Westwood Ave. and River Vale Road. Be there and support a new organizer effort. Great corner, with a lot of shade. Wide sidewalks accommodate chairs, nearby food and facilities, high visibility. Come! Park on the street, in Walgreen’s lot, or behind Medicine Shoppe.
