Hi All! This letter has links to important information about No Kings Vote Early. Please take the time to read the Rights and Rules and Parking info, at the very least.
If you know someone who wants to help with the resistance, but doesn’t protest, ask them to drive you and pick you up. Car-pool if you can.
Don’t forget that those who are for this administration feel fervently correct. We can expect pushback from them. Please be resolute in your commitment to nonviolence and de-escalation. The De-escalation Pocket Guide below is good to have with you.
I strongly recommend singing in the face of counter-protestors, harassers, and hecklers. “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” is perfect for this as it’s a well-known round that can be caught by those going down the line. We have to show the solidarity of our strength! That said, it will probably be a glorious day without a hitch or glitch. That’s what we hope for.
We protest at this site every week, and don’t want to compromise that. Please be mindful that when you leave, the Closter Patriots NK team will be picking up any garbage left behind. Please be kind to us, and make sure the area around you is clean when you leave.
